Universal Studios!

first wkend of 2012 was quite packed.

Sat
went to kat's birthday chalet at pasir ris for a bit. had to go buy prezzies at tampines mall first and then got lost while trying to find our way to the chalet. walked ard in e blistering sun n thank god haddad knew the way otherwise we wld have been walking for god knows how long.
anyhoo, didn't get to see e usual gang cos i was there way too early. but nonetheless, i got to see e bday girl!

happy belated bday kitty kat! :)

then haddad n i headed to universal studios at resorts world. yabadabadoo! evtime i step into tt place, it's as if i'm transported to a different dimension altogether. it was his first time there so it was fun, albeit too short cos we only had 4 hours or so.

we went on almost all e rides n i daresay e bestest one of them all was e cybertron thing. now they have 2 of these, 1 where u r seated safely in e compartment n e other where ur legs are dangling in e air.
i swear, i thought i was going to lose my life on one of them. MY ENTIRE BUTT WAS LIFTED OFF E SEAT!

i shut my eyes e whole time n prayed hard i wldn't hurl. wldnt be quite cool to have my vomit flyin across e air though tt wld have been funny. hahaha.

but it was fun being there! especially love how he accommodated to almost ev whim of mine. thank u sweetie. :)

we had dinner at Mel's Diner! it was so authentic American and i loved it!

Keeping Fit!

in an attempt to keep my new year's resolution, i've been jogging! ok yada yada i know it's no biggie n most of u probably do it too. but i dont care! hahaha. i damn proud of myself n i'm gonna keep it up hopefully till i lose some weight cos dammit. i'm a fatty now. my mom calls me a spongebob squarepants. hahah.

not only that, i also started going for my yoga classes too! AND i signed up for zumba lesson with my colleague. so yay me!

but again, god knows how long this will last so cross fingers!

Finally... An Update!

i did it again. i let e blog fade away. if u've been checkin ev couple of days or wks to see if i updated, i'm sowweeeeeeeeee! it's been really busy and crazy and tiring so i completely let this slide. *grimaces*
So much for trying to make an effort in keeping this blog alive. but i'm back now! :)

so quite a bit has happened but since evthin is over now, i'm not gonna bother writin abt e happenings for e past 3 months. let's just do... highlights, if u will.

went out with my sisters to just shop since e sales all over singapore were massive! it was a sad day cos we found out that our MAC powder is goin to be discontinued. if u don't alrdy know, i got shit skin so it takes A REALLY LONG TIME to find powder that suits my face. i had an arduous time looking for a decent powder n i only found it a year ago! so now i'm depressed. anybody got good brands to recommend?

tea-time at TCC. my eldest sister and i acting cute. hahaa.

then i met up with one of my oldest friends. i think i've known her since i was 14 and then we worked together after our O Levels at Guardian Pharmacy. she was one of my closest n dearest friend. now we have both grown up n grown apart for a bit, it's good to know that we're still friends and can still talk to each other about anythin n evthin. :)

one of my frens whom i meet pretty often now.

we went bowlin, blading n eating amongst other things! this was at simpang bedok with her sister, celebrating her bf's bday. :)

here's a familiar face to my blog - janah! i havent met her for eons n it was pleasant meetin her again. i missed her. *hugs* feels like we've drifted apart but still one of my dearest. :)

then there came christmas! i've never celebrated christmas before, simply cos my family doesnt do xmas n none of my close frens really celebrate it proper. so this year was a first for me. i had not one, but TWO christmas gatherings to go to! so fun!

first one was at his sister's place, with family and frens. wah super weird n awkward. haha. but nonetheless, she had good turkey n veg stuff tt i wld have scorned at without even lookin at it. but i got adventurous and had a couple n it was yummy! now to get e recipe. hee!

e second xmas gatherin was at his fren's place. this was all frens so it wasn't as awkward. haha. but when e guys were doin their thing, there was nothin for me n meera to do... EXCEPT TO CAMWHORE! woohoo!

n then finally, NEW YEAR'S EVE! i had countdown event with my station so it was work at ngee ann city with all 3 english stations. doin this reminds me of being e producer of a stage show and how much i loved it. :)

spent e night at meera's after. :)

he accompanied me thru work n all e other times when it was goin rough. thanks baby. :)
